Where We Work

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive HR strategies, focusing on key areas such as employee relations, talent management, compliance, training and development, and health and safety initiatives.
  • Support Management: Act as a primary support resource for people leads and managers by offering training, benchmarking, facilitation, and consultation services.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with company policies, local laws, government regulations, and relevant codes, ensuring all operations adhere to legal and ethical standards.
  • Manage Workforce Transitions: Assist in navigating employee transitions smoothly, including job changes or exits, to meet the company’s evolving needs and goals.
  • Oversee Recruiting Lifecycle: Handle all aspects of the recruiting process, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Resolve Workplace Issues: Address and resolve workplace issues or complaints in a respectful and inclusive manner, ensuring a positive work environment for all employees.
  • Promote DEI Initiatives: Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the organization, integrating these principles into HR practices and policies.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Manage daily administrative tasks and contribute to significant projects or analyses to keep the HR department running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Professional Experience: Have at least three to five years of experience in a human resources generalist role, with a preference for experience in an EPC/EPCM or professional services environment, showcasing a track record of successful HR management and strategy implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively engaging with and influencing diverse audiences across all levels of the organization.
  • Negotiation and Influence Skills: Possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to positively influence outcomes, demonstrating the capacity to resolve conflicts and negotiate agreeable solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel) and familiarity with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), enabling efficient management of HR data and processes.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Have a solid understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, ensuring compliance and the implementation of current and effective HR policies and procedures.
  • Multitasking and Prioritization Skills: Exhibit a strong ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment, demonstrating organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR Certification: Valued certifications include CPHR, SHRM-CP, PHR, indicating advanced HR knowledge and professionalism.
  • DEI Program Leadership: Experience leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in a corporate environment is highly regarded.
