Jeff Young is Estimating Lead at Vista Projects, where he leads the estimating team and works with project managers on major oil and gas projects. He first joined Vista in 2008 as Estimation Manager.
Jeff has more than 28 years of estimating and construction experience. He has led estimating on oil and gas developments and mining facilities as well as water treatment and civil construction projects, producing estimates from Class 5 conceptual studies through Class 2 feasibility work. He has served on the board of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Chinook-Calgary Section since 2009 and is a past president.
He holds a bachelor of applied science in civil engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a professional engineer registered in Alberta and British Columbia.
