Steve Byers is an experienced process engineer with 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. His expertise ranges from conventional oil and gas processing projects (sweetening, compression, dew point control/refrigeration, LPG recovery, and fractionation) to refineries and heavy-oil processing facilities. In the role of Process Engineering Manager, Steve led a team of over 50 process engineers for a series of multi-phase greenfield facility expansions.
Steve began consulting to Vista in 1998 and eventually joined the firm after working for more than 10 years at other multi-national engineering companies in Calgary.
Steve has worked at Vista since 1998 and brings a strong technical capability to the leadership team. He graduated from the University of Calgary in 1989 and is registered as a professional engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS).
