Farshad Tavakol has led Vista’s electrical engineering team since joining the company in 2018. In his current role, he leads many of Vista’s engineering services projects, updates Vista’s electrical calculation sheets and standards, and manages electrical team recruitment. Prior to joining Vista, Farshad worked for more than 22 years in electrical engineering and management for major oil and gas, metal and mining, and industrial projects.
He graduated from the Azad University of Iran with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Farshad is an active member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and Project Management Institute (PMI).
