Ali Dhia is Vista’s Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Department Manager. He joined Vista in 2012, following more than 13 years of experience with other engineering, manufacturing, construction, and DCS programming companies.
Ali brings with him a diverse applied experience in control system design, custody transfer application, instrumentation, measurement, communication, and project engineering, as well as leadership roles in the oil and gas industry.
In his current role, Ali leads the instrumentation and controls discipline within Vista’s integrated engineering team. He is responsible for the quality of I&C deliverables from specification development, process control design, DCS/PLC design, fibre optics design, and instrument sizing and selection. Ali also manages I&C staffing requirements for projects across engineering markets.
Ali graduated from Baghdad University with a B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1998 and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
