The Global Petroleum Show 2015 begins today, June 9, and runs until Thursday, June 11, at Stampede Park.
Despite low oil prices, organizers say that this year’s show is on track with around 50,000 attendees from almost 100 countries, and features nearly 2000 exhibiting companies. Attractions include a mock drilling site complete with a drilling rig, mud unit, well head and command centre; live demonstrations and simulations from the manufacturing industry; and educational programs on heavy oil, safety, enhanced oil recovery, environment, among others.
