The thoughts of Vista Projects staff are with the residents of Fort McMurray, Alberta, who have had to flee their homes as their city is ravaged by wild fires.
According to the CBC News Live Blog, which provides up-to-the-minute updates on the ongoing tragedy, 100 firefighters are on their way from Ontario to help combat the blaze.
A boil water advisory has been issued for the entire region, and residents currently north of the city have been asked to stay put for the time being.
Premier Rachel Notley said the “best thing people not affected by fires can do is make donations to Red Cross”.
